Activity 1: Art Activity - My Snowy Day

Directions: In The Snowy Day, Peter went outside to play in the new fallen snow. In the box below, draw and color your very own winter scene.

Activity 2: Matching Tracks

Directions: Peter went walking in the snow and make tracks with his feet and a fallen stick. Look at the pictures below. Draw a line connecting each animal to the track they would make in the snow.

Activity 3: Showing Emotions

Directions: In The Snowy Day Peter felt many different emotions. For each emotion we feel, we make a different face. Read each of the scenarios listed below. Draw the face Peter would make to show the emotion he felt.

Activity 4: Identifying Seasons

Directions: Peter’s experiences in My Snowy Day take place during the season of winter. Winter is just one of our four seasons. Look at the pictures below, circling all of the objects that are related to winter.
